The SEAT Sport Motor Club and the SA Air Force Museum (SAAF Museum) will host their annual charity fundraising event on 16 May 2009 at Air Force Base Swartkop in Valhalla. This day will be a showcase of cars from all over Gauteng coming to contribute their little bit to the less privileged children of our country. The day will be in the form of a fundraising day combined with the Air Force Museum flying day. This year the SAAF Museum, the SEAT Motor Club, organizes the event, along with sing for Africa Children-Fund and the Solidarity Helping Hand Fund.

You can expect lots of family entertainment and fun from this action pact event. Cars will start entering Swartkop Airfield from 06:00 the morning and the gates will open to the public from 08:00 sharp. Lots of beautiful cars will be on display: the Seat, BMW, Honda, Subaru, VW and Renault clubs are some of the clubs that will attend. The family can enjoy lots of food stalls, a LIVE Sound STAGE with lots of entertainment from well known artists such as the band ‘Denim”, “Seintallite”, Staaldraad, Lee Schott, Bronwyn, Quentin Prinsloo, Henry Alant, Ju-an and many more.

You can also expect awesome performances by children; all singing to create a better place for our less privileged children in SA. Lots of free gifts, competitions, donation possibilities and much more will provide a great family outing.

Apart from any fundraising efforts, the event management team will build three towers of food, clothing and blankets that will be donated to the Helping Hand Fund (Solidarity), Sing for Africa Children-Fund and the Kids in Distress Fund. These organisations will distribute it to their most needed project - read more on their web pages.

This event has the potential to become an annual highlight on the Centurion Calendar, which will benefit needy children from our communities.
