COMPETITION RULES
1. Closing date: The
closing date shall be the date given in the
instructions for the competition and, unless
otherwise informed, entries must be received by
midnight on 28 February 2011.
2. The competition is only
open to members of the public. Employees and
families of Denel entities and the SAAF (South
African Air Force) are prohibited from entering.
3. Only one entry is allowed
per person.
4. The prize consists of 1 x
ticket to attend the official launch of Per
aspera ad astra at Denel Aviation in Kempton
Park on 02 March 2011. The winner will also
receive their own copy of Per aspera ad astra
which will be autographed by the Chief of the
Air Force and the CEO of Denel Aviation. The
winner must attend the launch in person. No
representatives will be allowed.
5. Entries must provide the
details requested, which include entrant’s name,
cellular number and email address, together with
the answer to the question.
6. The winner will have
answered the question correctly and will be the
first correct entry randomly drawn after the
closing date from all the correct entries
received.
7. The judge's decision is
final. No correspondence will be entered into.
8. The winner will be notified
either by email or by phone within 10 days of
the closing date.
9. No responsibility can be
accepted for entries lost, delayed, misdirected,
damaged or undelivered. Incomplete, inaudible
and/or illegible entries will be disqualified.
The competition organisers shall not be held
responsible for technical errors in
telecommunications networks, internet access or
anything that otherwise prevents entry to the
competition.
10. Prizes are as stated and
are non-transferable. No cash alternatives will
be offered. If due to circumstances beyond the
competition organisers’ control, they are unable
to provide the stated prize, the competition
organisers reserve the right to award a
substitute prize. Prizes are subject to the
additional terms and conditions of the
manufacturer or supplier.
11. The competition organisers
reserve the right to select an alternative
winner in the event that they have reasonable
grounds for believing that an entrant has
contravened any term or condition of entry.
12. The competition organisers
shall not be liable for any delay in performing
or partial or total failure to perform any of
their obligations to the winner (and/or any
guests) under these terms and conditions if such
delay or failure is caused by circumstances
beyond their reasonable control including
without limitation delays, changes, disruptions,
cancellations, diversions or substitutions
howsoever caused.
13. Any personal information
collected by the competition organisers in
connection with the competition will be used in
accordance with the SAAF’s Privacy Policy.
14. Entrants agree to be bound
by these terms and conditions.
